Renée Allen

Renée Allen is a talented horn player known for her involvement in historical performance practice. Born in Montreal, Canada, she studied music at McGill University and later moved to Germany in 1981 to study the natural horn with Hermann Baumann. Her career includes performances with notable ensembles such as Concerto Köln and the Balthasar Neumann Ensemble. Renée Allen is also featured in the album "Salonmusik für Waldhorn," which showcases her work on the horn alongside pianist Assen Boyadjiev, presenting a program reminiscent of the German salons of the late 19th century.
