Danne Stråhed

Danne Stråhed is a Swedish singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist who’s been active in music since the mid-1970s. He’s best known as the longtime lead singer of the legendary dansband Wizex, a role he held for thirteen years, but he’s also been involved in other projects like Änglabarn and The Chinox throughout his career. Danne’s versatility shines through his work as a vocalist, guitarist, and keyboard player, and he’s contributed to a variety of musical styles—from pop to more upbeat, dance-oriented tunes. In 2022, he made a notable return to the spotlight, participating in Melodifestivalen with his energetic song “Hallabaloo,” which also charted in Sweden. His recent releases, including tracks like “Hallabaloo – nu och då,” “Du får inte gå,” and “Öppna landskap,” continue to showcase his knack for catchy melodies and heartfelt performances.
