Imagination Movers

The Imagination Movers are a New Orleans-based children's music group that marries catchy melodies with kid-friendly themes, successfully capturing the hearts and ears of children and parents alike. Formed in 2003, the band consists of four longtime friends: Rich Collins, Scott Durbin, Dave Poche, and Scott "Smitty" Smith, each bringing their own unique flavor to the group's dynamic. Dressed in their trademark blue jumpsuits, the Movers quickly rose to fame with their Emmy-winning Disney Channel television series, "Imagination Movers," which aired from 2008 to 2013.

Beyond the screen, their music career has flourished. The Imagination Movers have released several albums filled with songs that encourage children to solve problems, harness their imaginations, and enjoy the innocent pleasure of catchy, dance-along music. With their most recent releases such as "Coveralls: Songs from the Imagination Movers," and others like "Licensed to Move" and "Back in Blue," they continue to engage young audiences, inspiring creativity and physical activity. The band's success lies in its ability to connect with children on their level while maintaining a level of musicality that parents can appreciate, resulting in an entertainment experience that is both educational and genuinely fun.
