Zimmers Hole

Zimmers Hole is a Canadian heavy metal band with a flair for comedic and satirical lyrics, known for their theatrical and outrageous live performances. Originally formed in Vancouver, British Columbia in the early 1990s, the band's lineup consists of dynamic talents including vocalist Chris "The Heathen" Valagao of West of Hell, Jed Simon and Byron Stroud of Strapping Young Lad fame, as well as drummer Steve Wheeler. Their musical style is a blend of thrash and death metal, with a penchant for infusing humor into their songwriting and stage shows, distinguishing themselves in the metal community.

The band's discography is marked by several critically acclaimed releases, with one of their earliest albums, "Bound By Fire," establishing their unique presence in the metal scene with its scorched-earth riffage and irreverent humor. This album was followed by the re-release of "Legion Of Flames" which further showcased their evolving style and solid musicianship. Perhaps their most recognized work came with the 2008 release, "When You Were Shouting at the Devil... We Were in League with Satan," a full-throttle, riff-laden album that cemented their cult status among fans and critics alike. Zimmers Hole combines musicianship with a heavy dose of humor, poking fun at metal stereotypes whilst being serious performers, creating a niche for themselves that continues to garner a dedicated following.
