Slikk Muzik

Rickey “Slikk Muzik” Offord is a Dallas, Texas native born in 1985, who kicked off his music journey as a church kid banging on drums at age 4 and picking up piano by 11—all by ear, no lessons needed. A football standout in school, he dropped out of college to chase beats full-time, starting with a karaoke machine and cassette tapes as a teen, then getting his big local break at 19 with Trick Daddy, and early collabs with Chingy, Lil Zane, and Montell Jordan. By 2013, after grinding a bank job and networking in DFW studios, he moved to LA, scored a game-changer with Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds, and co-produced Ariana Grande’s “Lovin It” on her platinum #1 Billboard *Yours Truly* album—his first major check that let him quit the 9-5 for good.

Slikk’s hit factory kept rolling with tracks for Chris Brown, Ty Dolla $ign, Tank, Jeremih, Trey Songz, Tori Kelly, En Vogue, Rihanna, and more, signing deals with Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins and Max Gousse along the way. He’s snagged multiple Grammy wins (sources say 2-3), a Golden Globe, Billboard, Dove, and Stellar awards, plus multi-platinum plaques, all while playing drums, piano, and bass across R&B, hip-hop, pop, gospel, and beyond. Despite a wild health scare—a 33-day induced coma in 2016 after cardiac arrests—he’s back stronger, dropping his own joints like *“33” I’m the Producer* (2018), *Be Honest* (2019), *Juice* (2021), *KODAK* (2024), and *Ear Candy* (2025).
