Lukas Geniušas

Lukas Geniušas is a Lithuanian-Russian pianist known for his powerful technique and deeply thoughtful interpretations of a wide-ranging repertoire. Born in Moscow in 1990 into a family of musicians, he began playing piano at a young age and quickly gained acclaim for his remarkable musical maturity. A prize-winner at top international competitions, including the International Tchaikovsky Competition and the Chopin Piano Competition, Geniušas has since developed a dynamic international career performing with major orchestras and at prestigious concert halls worldwide.

He is particularly noted for his interpretations of Romantic and early 20th-century repertoire, performing works by Rachmaninoff, Prokofiev, Chopin, and Beethoven, among others.
