Joel DELEÓN

Joel DELEŌN, born Joel Pimentel de León on February 28, 1999, in Hesperia, California, is a Mexican American singer. He rose to fame as a member of the Latin boyband CNCO, which he joined after winning the reality show *La Banda* in 2015. During his time with CNCO, the group achieved significant success, releasing several albums and singles, including the hit "Reggaetón Lento (Bailemos)." In May 2021, Pimentel left CNCO to pursue a solo career, adopting the stage name Joel DELEŌN as a tribute to his grandfather. His solo work includes singles like "La Culpa," "COCO," "IDK Y," "Blue," and "Reggaetón Viejo," showcasing a blend of genres from Mexican Regional to urban-pop.

Joel DELEŌN's recent releases reflect his evolving style and artistic independence. His debut EP, *AHORA ME ESCUCHAN???,* was released in November 2023, marking a new chapter in his career. This EP follows a series of singles that have explored different musical directions, from the energetic "COCO" to the nostalgic "Reggaetón Viejo." DELEŌN's journey as a solo artist has been marked by a desire to explore new sounds and themes, while honoring his roots and family legacy.
