Broken Bones Matilda

Broken Bones Matilda is an alternative group formed by childhood friends Sam Gotley and Sarah McGrigor, who later became husband and wife. Hailing from the west country of England, their music draws inspiration from Americana while remaining deeply rooted in English traditions. The duo initially gained recognition for their Americana sound, but their style has evolved over time. In 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic, they took time to reassess their musical direction, which led to a shift in their sound and identity.
