Derrick & Tonika

Derrick & Tonika are a husband-and-wife drum & bass duo from Lviv, Ukraine, widely recognized as leading figures in the Ukrainian electronic music scene. They began making music together in 2006 and have since become the country’s most prominent drum & bass act, known for their technical skill, energetic DJ sets, and a catalogue of releases on respected international labels including Fokuz, Medschool, Camino Blue, and Shimbala Records. Their tracks have received support from drum & bass heavyweights like Kryptic Minds, London Elektricity, Future Prophecies, Logistics, and Loxy. Derrick is celebrated for his mastery behind the decks, while Tonika is noted as the first female drum & bass DJ in Ukraine, and together they have played major festivals and events at home and abroad.

Over the years, Derrick & Tonika have built a loyal following, released a steady stream of singles and EPs—like “XTO,” “Keep Calm,” “Space Diver,” and “Magic Bless LP”—and continue to shape the sound of Ukrainian drum & bass. Their dedication to the genre and active presence on streaming platforms and radio shows keep them at the forefront of their scene.
