Sorceress

Sorceress, formerly known as Funkommunity, is a soul electronica band founded in 2011 by vocalist Rachel Fraser and producer Isaac Aesili. The group quickly gained recognition as one of the most respected acts in their genre in New Zealand. Their debut album, *Chequered Thoughts*, was released in 2012 to worldwide acclaim, leading to tours in Europe and Japan. In 2014, they released their second album, *Dose*, through Wonderwheel Recordings. Sorceress performs live as a four-piece band, featuring drummer Myele Manzanza and bass player Marika Hodgson. They have toured extensively, including performances at Glastonbury Festival and the Jazz Cafe in London.

Their recent releases include *Teacups (Chaos In The CBD Remix)*, *Dose Remixes*, *Dose*, *Treat The Feel*, and *Teacups*, showcasing their blend of soulful vocals and electronic jazz textures. Sorceress continues to evolve their sound, exploring new directions in soul electronica while maintaining their distinctive style.
