Carlos Molina

Carlos Molina was a Cuban guitarist and music educator born in 1946 in Havana, Cuba. He's known as the founder of the Cuban Guitar School and had an impressive career spanning over 40 years. Molina studied at prestigious music institutions in Cuba and graduated in 1969 from both the National Conservatory and the Law School at Havana University.

Throughout his career, Molina performed in over 20 countries at renowned venues like the Kennedy Center and Metropolitan Opera House. He was also a dedicated teacher, starting at the National Conservatory of Havana in 1969 and later establishing guitar programs at various institutions. Molina was a tireless promoter of the guitar, organizing numerous festivals and competitions, and was honored with several awards for his contributions to music.
