Witches of Doom

Witches of Doom are a Italian gothic rock band from Rome, formed in 2013 by vocalist/guitarist Daniele "Bud" Reverito. Blending post-punk darkness with alternative rock energy, their sound pays homage to '80s goth icons like The Sisters of Mercy while adding modern metallic edges. The band – which has included members like drummer Federico "Fred" Maragoni and bassist Claudia Sorvillo – gained attention with albums like *Deadlights* (2016) and *Funeral Radio* (2020), delivering brooding anthems packed with reverb-drenched guitars and dramatic vocals. Their catalog also includes unexpected covers like their version of Joy Division's *Love Will Tear Us Apart*, showcasing their roots in darkwave traditions. Recent singles like *Obey* and *New Year's Day* continue their tradition of crafting moody, riff-driven songs perfect for midnight drives and club nights alike.
