Django Festival Allstars

The Django Festival Allstars are a dynamite group of gypsy jazz musicians who've been keeping the spirit of legendary guitarist Django Reinhardt alive and kicking since the early 2000s. Born out of the annual Django Reinhardt NY Festival at Birdland in New York City, curated by producer Pat Philips, this rotating ensemble features top talents from the manouche jazz scene, including French virtuosos like guitarist Samson Schmitt, accordionist Ludovic Beier, violinist Pierre Blanchard, and rhythm guitarist DouDou Cuillerier. They tour internationally, blending fiery improvisations, swinging rhythms, and heartfelt tributes to Reinhardt's Hot Club de France era, often performing at major venues and festivals.
