Paraphonatic

Paraphonatic is a German Hard Trance and Techno act based in Norddeutschland. Formed in 1995, the group quickly gained popularity with hits like "The Reincarnation Anthem" for the first Reincarnation Parade in Hannover, followed by "The Sons Of A New Generation" and "The Festival Of The Century" for the Reincarnation Parade in 1996. The band has also released music under the pseudonym "Calypso," with their album "We Move The Jumpin' Hype" achieving significant success in Russia and the Czech Republic. Paraphonatic's music has been remixed by notable artists such as Timo Maas and Gary D. After a long hiatus, they released new music in 2020 with the single "Gate Three."

The band consists of Tobias "Riva" Wölki, Daniel "den Ham" Bäcker, and Oliver "Tac" Westphal. With a history spanning over two decades, Paraphonatic has contributed significantly to the electronic music scene, particularly in the Hard Trance genre. Their music often finds a place in festivals and raves, with songs like "The Past, The Present, The Future" becoming anthems for large events like the Ex.TC Rave in Schwerin. Paraphonatic's return to the scene with recent releases like "Alien Contact" and "Gate Three" has revitalized interest in their energetic and vibrant sound.
