The Bablers
**The Bablers** are a Finnish power pop outfit serving up sunshine-soaked hooks and jangly guitars that’ll transport you straight to the golden age of British Invasion rock. Originally formed in the late ‘80s, the band reunited in 2018 after a long hiatus, reigniting their knack for crafting melodies that feel both nostalgic and fresh. Fronted by multi-instrumentalist Mikko Syrjä, these Helsinki-based tunesmiths channel The Beatles, The Byrds, and Badfinger with a modern twist, earning love from power pop loyalists and indie circles alike.
Their 2022 album *Psychadilly Circus* (and its radio-friendly edit) became a standout release via California’s Big Stir Records, home to many of their recent singles like “Queen of Yesterday” and “Love is Everything!” Whether they’re dishing out harmony-drenched anthems (“Together Forever”) or wistful singalongs (“Holding Me Tight Tonight”), The Bablers keep the spirit of guitar-driven pop alive and kicking. With a live energy that’s as warm as their studio output, they’re proof that great hooks never go out of style.
