Day of Salvation

**Day of Salvation** is a hardcore band from Malang, Indonesia, formed in late 2017. Initially named Coldlines, the group underwent lineup changes and eventually adopted their current name in 2021. The band's sound is deeply rooted in the metallic hardcore culture, drawing inspiration from mid-90s metalcore bands like Congress, Kindred, Culture, and Liar. Over time, they have evolved to incorporate late '90s and early '00s metalcore styles into their music. Their latest releases include the EP *Falling From Grace to Eternal Damnation* and a split with Moneybag. The band aims to contribute positively to both local and global movements, focusing on humanity and environmental issues. They hope to expand their reach by performing in other countries.

Day of Salvation's music often explores themes of social critique and environmental awareness, as seen in tracks like "Degradation" and "Through The Fear," which address issues such as deforestation and societal decay. Their sound is characterized by intense breakdowns and dynamic contrasts, appealing to fans of early 2000s metalcore bands like Converge and Curl Up and Die.
