Melissa Bianco is a Canadian musician and creative professional born and raised in Vancouver, B.C. She graduated from Argyle Secondary School in 1987 and earned an Arts and Sciences Diploma in Media Resources from Capilano College in 1991. For over two decades, Bianco worked in the game development industry, including as a producer on the long-running MMOs *City of Heroes* and *City of Villains*. That extensive experience in game development directly inspired her music, particularly her album *Chance of a Lifetime*, which uniquely explores the creative process and challenges of making games through song.
Her musical approach blends pop, rock, and blues genres while maintaining a strong narrative focus. *Chance of a Lifetime* showcases her reflective songwriting style, exploring themes of risk-taking, decision-making, and the fleeting nature of creative opportunities. Beyond music, Bianco has also worked as an Extras Casting Director and is involved in various creative ventures. With an upcoming album titled *Across the Frequency* set to release in April 2026, she continues to channel her diverse creative experiences into compelling, genre-blending pop music.
