**Tacet** is a Latino rapper, singer, songwriter, and producer hailing from El Monte in LA's San Gabriel Valley, where he grew up in a musical family—his dad was a DJ and death-metal frontman. He taught himself guitar by age 10, started making beats by 15, and scored his big break at 18 producing RAMIREZ’s underground hit “Grey Gods” featuring $uicideboy$, which went RIAA Gold and put him on the map.

Drawing from legends like Dr. Dre, MF DOOM, J Dilla, and Madlib, Tacet crafts a gritty, versatile sound mixing raw hip-hop, bilingual bars, and live instrumentation—he even plays guitar, produces, mixes, and writes it all himself under his Third World Posse imprint. His recent drops like **SCUMDAWG**, **See No Evil (Deluxe Edition)**, **EL CADEJO**, and **The Least of My Worries** series showcase that DIY hustle, while he's been tearing up LA warehouse scenes like 1720 and hitting stages nationwide with the same raw energy.
