YEJI

Hwang Ye-ji, known mononymously as **Yeji**, is a South Korean singer and dancer. Born on May 26, 2000, in Seoul, South Korea, she grew up in Jeonju. Yeji is the leader of the South Korean girl group **Itzy**, formed by JYP Entertainment in 2019. She officially debuted with Itzy in February 2019 with the single album *It'z Different* and the lead single "Dalla Dalla." Before her debut, Yeji appeared on several TV shows, including *Stray Kids* and *The Fan*. In recent years, Yeji has ventured into solo projects, releasing her debut EP *Air* in March 2025. She also released her first original soundtrack, "Think about you," for the TV series *Love Your Enemy* in December 2024.

Yeji's solo work showcases her versatility as an artist, blending genres and styles that appeal to a wide audience.
