Nikhita Gandhi

Nikhita Gandhi is an Indian playback singer and songwriter known for her versatile voice and multilingual singing prowess, accumulating acclaim in Bollywood and beyond. Born in 1991 in Kolkata, West Bengal, Gandhi's tryst with music started early under the tutelage of her father, also a musician. She is proficient in Bengali, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and English, enabling her to sing across various Indian film industries. A dentist by qualification, Nikhita chose to carve her niche in music and studied under the tutelage of A.R. Rahman at the KM Music Conservatory. This education paved the way for her playback singing debut with the song "Ladio" from the film "I" in 2014.

Her journey in the industry has been marked by diverse collaborations and hit songs across movie soundtracks. Some of her recent releases show the breadth of her genre-spanning abilities: "Maine Kuch Samjha Nahin" and "Takna" exhibit her soulful touch in the realm of romantic ballads, while "Ordinary Person" from "Leo" underscores her ability to contribute to high-energy film scores. "Leke Prabhu Ka Naam" from "Tiger 3" and "Esheche Dugga Esheche" highlight her adaptability to devotional and cultural anthems. The playful "Desi Wine" from "Thank You for Coming" and the enchanting "Naya Naya Sa" from "Who's Your Gynac?" further demonstrate her range and artistry. With a voice that resonates across different languages and musical styles, Nikhita Gandhi continues to command attention in the Indian music scene and elevates every project she graces with her vocal talent.
