Ground
Ground, also known as Gr◯un土, is a Japanese DJ and producer based in Osaka. He is one of the founders of the Chill Mountain collective, which initially threw parties in the mountains south of Osaka and later focused on its record label, Chill Mountain Recordings. Ground's music style is eclectic, blending a wide range of sonic textures and soundscapes that evoke otherworldly environments. His performances have taken him to over 21 countries, including the U.S., Canada, and several European nations. He has released numerous EPs, singles, and collaborations, along with six albums, including the 2018 world debut album "SUNIZM" on the ESP Institute label.
Ground's recent releases reflect his diverse musical approach, with titles like "Tumulus / Wakusei Α - Acid Pauli Remix" and "界人再び現る Kaizin Futatabi Arawaru-MELTMODE Remix-," showcasing his ability to merge different styles and collaborate with various artists.
