Antón García Abril is a Spanish composer known for his contributions to classical music, film scores, and zarzuelas. Born in Teruel, Spain, in 1933, he studied at the Madrid Royal Conservatory and later in Paris with Nadia Boulanger. García Abril's music is characterized by its melodic richness, rhythmic vitality, and evocative harmonies. He has composed over 200 works, including symphonies, concertos, operas, and film scores for over 150 films. His most famous works include the soundtrack for the 1969 film "El Hombre y la Tierra" and the zarzuela "Divinas Palabras."
