Ween

Formed in New Hope, Pennsylvania, in 1984, Ween is an eclectic alternative rock duo comprised of childhood friends Aaron Freeman and Mickey Melchiondo, better known by their stage names, Gene Ween and Dean Ween. Ween is renowned for their irreverent, genre-spanning sound which includes elements of rock, punk, psychedelic, country, and experimental music, often laced with humor and parody. The band gained a reputation for their chaotic and entertaining live performances, as well as their cult-like fanbase who relish the duo's unpredictable musical explorations and prolific output.

Ween's career stretches across several decades, during which they've released a plethora of albums that showcase their ability to expertly drift between sincere homages and cheeky pastiches of multiple musical styles. Although their most recent studio album "La Cucaracha" was released in 2007, Ween has continued to thrill fans with a series of live recordings, such as "GodWeenSatan: Live," which marked the live performance of their first album, and other offerings like "At The Cat's Cradle, 1992" and "Live In Chicago." The band went through a brief hiatus when Freeman left in 2012, but they later reunited in 2016 and have since continued touring and satisfying fans' appetites for their unique brand of musical whimsy.
