Paweł Czarakcziew is a talented cellist and chamber musician who made his stage debut at the age of six, performing at the Kraków Philharmonic. He has appeared in concerts throughout Europe and on the West Coast, showcasing his versatility in both classical and improvisational settings. Czarakcziew is a scholarship holder of the Rector of the Academy of Music in Kraków and was awarded the 2022-2023 Fulbright Junior Research Award to conduct research at the University of Southern California. He co-founded the Cracow Harp Quintet and the Czarakcziew/Kowal Duo, with whom he has recorded several albums, including works by Joanna Bruzdowicz. Currently, he is a PhD candidate at the Krzysztof Penderecki Academy of Music in Kraków.
Czarakcziew's recent releases include arrangements and performances of contemporary composers' works, such as Joanna Bruzdowicz's compositions for piano and cello. His musical endeavors often blend classical music with elements of jazz and improvisation, reflecting his diverse musical interests.
