Euwe de Jong is a Dutch organist born in 1956. He studied organ with Wim van Beek and music theory with Rein Ferwerda at the Groningen Conservatory. De Jong furthered his studies in musical interpretation with Peter van Dijk in Utrecht, completing both his postgraduate organ studies and his degree in Music Theory in 1982. He has been active as a composer and arranger, and from 1985 to 2006, he served as the accompanist for the Roder Jongenskoor (Roden Boys Choir). Currently, he works as the Director of Education at the Schumann Akademie in Zwolle. His recent releases include a series of albums featuring Bach Cantatas and other organ works, often performed in collaboration with others for organ duets.
