Insomniacks

Insomniacks is a Malaysian musical group known for their pop and Asian pop music. Formed in 2015, the band originally consisted of Iqie (Syed Mir Iqbal) as the lead vocalist and guitarist, Wan Arif Iskandar on bass, Gavin Wong on drums, and Danial Doodye on rhythm guitar. However, Gavin Wong left the band in 2022, leaving it as a three-member group under Universal Music Malaysia. Insomniacks gained recognition with hits like "Pulang," "Sempurna," and "Reminisensi," which often explore themes of love and heartbreak. Their music is characterized by its emotional depth and relatability, making them a notable presence in the Malaysian music scene.

Insomniacks' journey began with their debut single "Selalu" in 2017, which featured in the soundtrack of the Malay drama "My Coffee Prince." Over the years, they have continued to produce music that resonates with their audience, including their debut EP "Kepala Batu." The band's performances are known for capturing the hearts of their listeners, often encouraging them to sing along to their heartfelt songs. Despite the changes in their lineup, Insomniacks remain a beloved and influential band in the Asian pop scene.
