Rodney Warnakula

Rodney Warnakula is a Sri Lankan actor, comedian, singer and dubbing artist known for a long career in stage drama, television and film; he was born Warnakula Patabandige Rodney Priyantha Perera on 24 April 1961 in Ja-Ela and has performed in dozens of stage plays, films and TV serials while also releasing music and stage-song collections.

He began his stage career in Lucien Bulathsinhala’s 1981 drama Tharavo Igilethi, has been noted for popular television roles (including Bodima and Nonavaruni Mahathvaruni), hosted TV game shows, and marked career anniversaries with concerts and music releases such as the albums Ha Ha Lande and Sanda Eliya Wage.
