Bewitcher

Bewitcher is a Portland, Oregon-based metal trio that’s been cranking out a fiery blend of blackened speed metal and occult-laced punk since their formation in 2013. Fronted by guitarist/vocalist Mateo von Bewitcher, the band channels the raw energy of ‘80s underground metal with lyrics steeped in witchcraft, Satanic rebellion, and dystopian themes. Known for their breakneck riffs and leather-clad aesthetic, they’ve built a cult following through relentless touring and albums like *Cursed Be Thy Kingdom* (2021) and *Under the Witching Cross* (2019), released via labels like Century Media. Their 2023 EP *Deep Cuts & Shallow Graves* and recent singles like *The Warrior Trail* keep their signature blend of Motörhead-meets-Venom chaos alive, while their 2015 demo *Speed 'Til You Bleed* shows their roots in the DIY metal underground. Bewitcher remains a no-frills, high-octane force in the modern metal scene.
