Jia Lim

**Jia Lim** is a Berlin-based harpsichordist and trumpeter from Singapore who brings together classical training and early music expertise in her performances. She grew up playing piano and trumpet in Singapore before earning a scholarship to study trumpet at the University of Michigan. Her curiosity about early music led her to pursue further studies in Berlin and Basel, where she developed her skills on the harpsichord. Today, she performs across multiple genres as a versatile musician, working with both baroque and contemporary repertoire on harpsichord and trumpet.

In recent years, Jia has collaborated with violinist Miako Klein on projects like *Nova Atlantis*, which blends baroque violin, harpsichord, recorder, and light electronics in a mix of improvised and composed pieces. She's become known for her prize-winning performances both as a harpsichord soloist and in chamber ensembles, establishing herself as a distinctive voice in Berlin's early music scene.
