TERIYAKI, also known as Teriyaki Boyz, is a Japanese hip hop supergroup hailing from Yokohama, Japan. The group features a star lineup including Ilmari and Ryo-Z from Rip Slyme, Verbal from M-Flo, rapper Wise, and Nigo, the founder of the famous streetwear brand A Bathing Ape. Known for their stylish blend of hip hop and Japanese culture, they often sport Bathing Ape gear in their performances and videos. Their debut album, *Beef or Chicken?*, dropped under Def Jam and featured production from big-name producers like Daft Punk and The Neptunes. They gained international attention with their track "Tokyo Drift (Fast & Furious)," which was the official theme song for *The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift* movie, helping to bring Japanese hip hop to a global audience. The group is known for collaborating with major American artists such as Pharrell Williams, Kanye West, and Big Sean, continuing to mix East and West in their dynamic sound.
