Hélène Carpentier

Hélène Carpentier is a French soprano who began her professional career in 2018 after winning several prestigious singing competitions, including first prize and the award for best interpretation of French repertoire at the Voix Nouvelles competition. Originally trained as a pianist and flutist, she discovered singing in her hometown of Amiens and refined her skills at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris. Known for her vibrant operatic roles, she has taken on key parts such as Micaëla in *Carmen* at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées and Blanche de la Force in *Dialogues des Carmélites*, among others.

Her repertoire is rich and varied, covering works from composers like Saint-Saëns, Massenet, Bellini, Bizet, and more. She frequently collaborates with renowned ensembles such as Accentus and conductors including Laurence Equilbey. Notably, Carpentier features in the recent commercial recording of Saint-Saëns's opera *L'Ancêtre* and continues to perform in major opera houses across France and internationally. With a charismatic stage presence and a strong foothold in French opera, she is regarded as a notable rising star in the classical music world.
