Ken Barrie

Ken Barrie was a beloved English voice actor and singer, best known for his work on the children's TV show Postman Pat. Born Leslie Hulme in 1933, he adopted the stage name Ken Barrie early in his career. Barrie provided the voice of Postman Pat and several other characters, as well as singing the show's catchy theme tune. His warm, friendly voice became synonymous with the series, delighting kids and parents alike from 1981 onwards.

Beyond Postman Pat, Barrie lent his vocal talents to other TV shows and films, including Charlie Chalk and Hi-de-Hi!. He also had a career as a singer, releasing several albums of children's songs and rhymes. Barrie passed away in 2016, leaving behind a legacy of work that continues to entertain new generations of young viewers.
