Skryptonite, born Adil Oralbekovich Zhalelov on June 3, 1990, in Pavlodar, Kazakhstan, is a prominent figure in the Russian-speaking hip-hop scene. Known for his unique blend of trap, hip-hop, and electronic music, Skryptonite first gained widespread attention with his 2015 debut album "House with Normal Phenomena." His distinctive sound, which he describes as rooted in his Kazakh heritage but influenced by American production styles, has made him a standout artist in the genre.

Throughout his career, Skryptonite has been prolific, releasing multiple albums and collaborating with various artists. He's the founder of the Musica36 label and has expanded his artistic repertoire to include projects like Gruppa Skryptonite, showcasing his versatility as a musician. Despite his success in the Russian-speaking world, Skryptonite emphasizes his Kazakh identity and prefers his work to be called "Kazakh rap" rather than Russian rap.
