## Ochunism Biography

Ochunism is a Japanese band known for its genre-defying style, blending elements of rock, funk, soul, R&B, and hip-hop into a unique sound. Formed in April 2019 by members who met while attending university, the band hails from the Kansai region. Their music career took off quickly with the release of their 1st full album "Gate of Ochunism" in March 2020 and their 1st mini album "INSIDE" in November 2020. Ochunism gained further recognition after winning the Grand Prix at the "Next Age Music Award 2019." In 2022, they made their major debut under Universal Music's label, Universal Sigma, releasing several successful singles and albums, including "Leave The Gate Open," "Scramble," and singles like "夢中," "光," and "GIVE ME SHELTER."

The band is praised for its dynamic live performances, which often feature intricate arrangements that encourage audience participation. Despite undergoing lineup changes, Ochunism continues to evolve and captivate audiences with their energetic and eclectic sound. Their recent releases reflect a consistent output of creative and engaging music that has resonated with fans across various genres.
