Gwhyneth Chen is a Taiwanese-American classical pianist who has been praised for her "exquisite technique" and "deeply expressive" performances. Born in Taipei, Taiwan, Chen began playing the piano at the age of four and quickly displayed a prodigious talent. She made her orchestral debut at the age of 12 and has since performed with major orchestras around the world, including the New York Philharmonic, the Boston Symphony Orchestra, and the London Symphony Orchestra. Chen is also a dedicated chamber musician and has collaborated with some of the world's leading musicians, including violinist Joshua Bell and cellist Yo-Yo Ma. In addition to her performing career, Chen is also a passionate educator and has taught at the Juilliard School and the New England Conservatory of Music.
