Rita Zipora is a Dutch singer-songwriter from Amsterdam known for her indie pop sound and poetic lyricism. Born in 1988, she studied vocals at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague and gained attention with her self-released 2014 debut *Als ik kijk*, which earned performances at Noorderslag and *De Wereld Draait Door*. Her 2016 double EP *Stroom* and its subsequent album release showcased her evolving style, while her collaborative 2019 project *WOLKEN* with poet Robin Block introduced dreamy electronic pop elements. A vocal advocate for artists' rights, Zipora serves on the board of BAM (Beroepsvereniging Auteur-Muzikanten) and contributes to gender equality initiatives at Buma/Stemra. Her recent work includes the introspective single *Zo Zeg Je Geen Gedag* (2019) and the atmospheric *WOLKEN* album.
