The Sadies

The Sadies are a Canadian rock and roll band from Toronto, Ontario, known for blending elements of country, surf, garage rock, and psychedelia into a sound that's uniquely their own. Formed in the mid-1990s by brothers Dallas and Travis Good—who happen to be the sons of Bruce Good from the Canadian country group The Good Brothers—the band quickly carved out a niche with their sharp guitar work, tight instrumentals, and moody, cinematic vibe. Rounding out the group are longtime members Sean Dean (bass) and Mike Belitsky (drums), forming a lineup with serious chemistry both live and in the studio.

Over the years, The Sadies have collaborated with an impressive list of artists, including Neko Case, John Doe, Gord Downie, and Jon Spencer, and have earned a reputation for stunning live performances. Their 2022 album Colder Streams, released on Yep Roc Records, was widely acclaimed and tragically marked the final recordings of Dallas Good, who passed away earlier that year. With a deep catalog and a foot equally in edgy rock and heartfelt Americana, The Sadies continue to be a cornerstone of the Canadian indie music scene.
