Hugo Rasmussen

Hugo Rasmussen was one of Denmark’s most beloved jazz bassists, known for his warm tone, swinging groove, and down-to-earth personality. With a career that spanned more than five decades, he became a cornerstone of the Danish jazz scene and worked with a wide range of international and local artists, including Dexter Gordon, Ben Webster, and Horace Parlan.
