John Digweed

John Digweed is a seminal figure in the international electronic music scene, renowned for his progressive house sounds and pioneering DJ sets. Born in Hastings, England, Digweed began building his reputation in the early 1990s. His talent for blending tracks in a smooth, seamless fashion quickly established him as a leading name in the club scene. In 1993, his path fortuitously crossed with fellow DJ Sasha, with whom he formed an influential partnership, leading to the creation of the iconic mix compilation series “Renaissance.”

Digweed's career has spanned decades, during which he has not only continued to be a venerated DJ but has also embraced the role of a producer and record label owner. He co-founded the labels Bedrock Records with Nick Muir, his frequent collaborator, and has released a host of records, continuously showcasing new talents as well as his own productions. His Transitions radio show is a weekly broadcast with a global following, featuring both his own mixes and guest DJs. John's recent releases include "Set In Stone / Forbidden Zone," a testament to his ability to evolve with electronic music, incorporating modern sounds while maintaining the deep, atmospheric style that is his signature.
