Schneider TM

Schneider TM is the long-running experimental electronic project of Berlin-based musician and producer Dirk Dresselhaus. Since the late '90s, Dresselhaus has carved out a quirky, genre-blurring space in the music world, mixing glitchy electronics, warped pop sensibilities, and atmospheric guitar work. He gained international attention with his dreamy 2000 cover of The Smiths’ “There Is a Light That Never Goes Out” (reworked as “The Light 3000”), which became an unlikely indie-electronic crossover hit.

Always evolving, Schneider TM’s recent output—like the hypnotic *Ereignishorizont* (2021), the soundtrack work for *REMAINDER* (2023), and the playful *Con-Struct* series—shows his knack for balancing cerebral soundscapes with moments of warmth and humor. Whether collaborating with other artists or tinkering solo in his Berlin studio, Dresselhaus remains a shapeshifting force in experimental music, never afraid to bend circuits or expectations.
