Long Beach Dub Allstars is a reggae rock band hailing from Long Beach, California, formed in the late 1990s by former members of the influential band Sublime. After the death of Sublime's frontman Bradley Nowell, the remaining members—Eric Wilson and Bud Gaugh—joined forces with other local musicians to carry on the spirit of their music, blending reggae, ska, punk, and dub into a laid-back yet energetic sound.
Known for their collaborative and jam-friendly style, Long Beach Dub Allstars have released several albums and gone through lineup changes over the years, but their core mission has remained the same: crafting positive, groove-heavy music rooted in Southern California's beach culture. They've continued to release new material into the 2020s, showcasing their evolution while staying true to the genre-melding sound that first put them on the map.
