Sentient Divide is a death metal band hailing from Spokane, Washington, in the United States. Formed in 2017, they are known for their dark and ominous sound, which they showcased in their self-titled releases and notably in their album "Haunted by Cruelty." The band was active as a trio during this time and produced music that highlighted dynamic shifts, rhythmic changes, and intense musical compositions. "Haunted by Cruelty," released in 2020, featured complex arrangements with elements like tremolo picking, syncopated breakdowns, and melodic elements. However, it appears that the band has since split up.
