Romany Gilmour

Romany Gilmour is a young British musician and vocalist, known for her work alongside her father, Pink Floyd guitarist David Gilmour. Born in 2002 to David Gilmour and writer Polly Samson, Romany has grown up in a creatively rich environment and has begun carving out her own space in music and performance. She plays harp and guitar and gained recognition for her delicate, emotive vocal performance on the 2024 David Gilmour track *Between Two Points*, where her voice has been praised for its subtle vulnerability and emotional depth.

Romany has also performed live with her father, including an intimate acoustic set where they surprised pub-goers with renditions of Pink Floyd classics and her own original material. Beyond music, she has acted as well, showing a multi-faceted artistic talent rooted in a family legacy of both music and literature. Her contributions to the recent album *Luck and Strange* highlight her emerging presence in the music scene as more than just David Gilmour’s daughter but as a distinctive artist in her own right.
