The Livesays

**The Livesays** are a killer five-piece pop/rock band from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, fronted by the talented singer/songwriter/guitarist **Billy Livesay**, who's been rocking stages since his teens after getting hooked by the Beatles and Rolling Stones. Formed in 1998, they've dropped five full-length albums packed with heartfelt tunes blending heartland rock, Americana, blues, funk, and pop hooks—like their recent releases *After Christmas Blues*, *Not What I Bargained For*, and *The Rhythm of Love and Dysfunction*—telling stories from young love to battling life's rough patches.

Billy cut his teeth touring with soul and rock bands before spending 12 years with E Street Band sax legend Clarence Clemons in Temple of Soul, even recording live albums at Asbury Park's Stone Pony (one featuring Bruce Springsteen himself). Drummer **Eddie Zyne**, a co-founder and Hall & Oates alum who's played with Todd Rundgren and Foghat, tragically passed in 2018, but the band honored him by pushing forward with new drummer Howard Goldberg, alongside bassist **Jorge Laplume**, organist **Cuqui Berrios**, and keys man **Tim Murphy** (lineups have seen some shifts over time). With Billy's songs landing in TV shows and films, plus gigs alongside Foghat's Tony Stevens, these South Florida vets keep delivering memorable, radio-ready rock that sticks with you.
