Chickenfoot
Chickenfoot is a hard rock supergroup formed in the late 2000s, made up of an all-star lineup of seasoned rock musicians. The band features former Van Halen members Sammy Hagar (vocals) and Michael Anthony (bass), legendary guitarist Joe Satriani, and Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith. Together, they created a high-energy, blues-influenced rock sound that showcases their individual talents and chemistry as a group.
The band released their self-titled debut album, Chickenfoot, in 2009, which received strong reviews and charted well. They followed it up with Chickenfoot III in 2011 — cheekily skipping the number two — and later released compilation and live albums, including Best + Live in 2017. Known for their tight musicianship, playful attitude, and arena-ready rock riffs, Chickenfoot carved out a space in the rock world as a supergroup that delivered both on record and on stage.
