Sadraen

Sadraen is a French extreme metal band from Doullens, formed in 2008 initially under the name ShivA before adopting their current moniker in 2012. The band is known for blending death metal with progressive elements, creating a unique sound that incorporates rapid rhythms, guttural vocals, and complex musical structures. Their style is often compared to bands like Gojira, reflecting similarities in rhythm and melody, as well as thematic depth in their lyrics. Sadraen's current lineup includes Antoine Mietka on vocals and rhythm guitar, Adrien Pauchet on lead guitar, Valentin Pauchet on drums, and Thomas Hiblot on bass and vocals. They have released notable works such as *Orphan Lord*, and have been active in the French metal scene, performing at festivals like BetiZFest.

Sadraen's music career has been marked by a gradual evolution from their early days as ShivA, during which they released a self-financed EP titled *Déviances Chroniques*. After changing their name, they began to gain recognition with their self-produced EPs and eventually signed with M&O Music, leading to the release of their album *Orphan Lord*. Their recent releases, such as *Idols of Ruin*, continue to showcase their progressive and modern approach to metal.
