**Overlaps** is an **alternative rock band** hailing from northeastern Italy, near Venice, that formed in 2016. The band features **Gloria Piccinin** on vocals, **Marco Marinato** on guitar, and **Stefano Galioto** on bass, with drummer **Stefano Guglielmo** supporting during live performances. Their debut single "On Monday" made waves on Virgin Radio Italy in 2016, charting for six weeks, while their self-titled debut album dropped in September 2018, produced by Fabio Trentini (known for his work with Guano Apes and Donots).

Over the years, Gloria and Marco have been progressively blending rock with alt-pop and electronic influences, experimenting with electro-pop, synth guitars, and vocal effects inspired by acts like Pvris, Nothing But Thieves, and Muse. The band gained significant exposure in 2018 when they supported The Rasmus across 27 shows spanning 12 European countries, followed by headline performances at festivals like Rockstock Newcastle in 2019. Their sound has evolved considerably, with recent singles like "White Line" showcasing a more synth-driven direction while maintaining the powerful energy that defines their music.
