DJ Kenn AON, born in Yamagata prefecture, Japan, is a producer and DJ who played a pivotal role in the early Chicago drill scene. After moving to the United States in his early 20s, Kenn found himself in Chicago where he met and began working with a young Chief Keef. He produced some of Chief Keef's earliest hits like "Bang" and "3hunna," helping to launch the rapper's career and shape the sound of drill music.
Despite not knowing English when he first arrived, Kenn quickly became an integral part of Chicago's hip-hop community. He continued to work with various artists in the city's scene, including members of Glory Boyz Entertainment (GBE). In recent years, Kenn has expanded his collaborations to include both American and Japanese artists, working with names like Bladee and Yung Lean while maintaining his base in Chicago.
