Katja Grüttner

**Katja Grüttner** is a talented violinist who spent her childhood in Sweden and picked up the violin at just four years old. She continued her musical training at the Nuremberg Conservatory, building a career in classical chamber music.

She's best known for her duo recordings with violist **Christian Goosses**, like Pleyel, Haydn, Mozart, Hoffmeister, and Pössinger duos for violin and viola, full of that elegant classical vibe. Grüttner also shines as a violinist in ensembles such as the Schuppanzigh-Quartett, where she plays historic instruments like a 1734 Emiliani violin, and has appeared in string quartets performing works by Pierre Rode alongside Goosses, Werner Matzke, and others.
