Atlas Genius

Atlas Genius is an Australian alternative rock band originating from Adelaide, South Australia. The band was formed by the Jeffery brothers, Keith on lead vocals and lead guitar, Steven on bass and backing vocals, and Michael on drums, though Michael would later depart from the band. The group burst onto the international music scene with their hit single "Trojans" from their debut album "When It Was Now", released in 2013. Their sound is characterized by catchy hooks, shimmering guitar melodies, and electronic elements that have effectively bridged the gap between indie rock and synth-pop.

Following their successful debut, Atlas Genius continued to build upon their momentum with a series of releases that showcased their evolving style. In 2015, they released their sophomore effort "Inanimate Objects", featuring the lead single "Molecules", which further cemented their place in the indie rock landscape. They demonstrated a willingness to experiment with their sound through subsequent remix EPs like "So Electric: When It Was Now (The Remixes)" and "Molecules (Remix EP)", offering fresh takes on their existing repertoire. Their ongoing journey through the music landscape is marked by thoughtful lyricism and a consistent drive to refine their sonic identity, most recently seen in their latest track "Elegant Strangers" and other recent singles such as "Can't Be Alone Tonight" and "63 Days".
